Anyway, this will be the last of a three book series which debuts this fall. I'm quite excited. The series is set in Texas and should be an interesting change of venue from Alaska. Speaking of which - you'll recall that my current series Song of Alaska is set in Sitka. I'm very excited to announce that I'll be speaking at the library in Sitka, Alaska
August 8th and then my husband and I plan to teach a 2 day writer's workshop in Sitka August 13th and 14th. It's going to be great fun.
Last but not least - because I know so many of you have wondered about my snow situation. Here is my forecast for Friday (today).
Friday...Rain and snow showers likely in the morning...Then a chance of rain showers...Snow showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches. Total snow accumulation 1 to 6 inches.
Hmmm 1 to 6 inches of snow on June 11th. Something doesn't quite sound right about that. Cathy Hake - I have a feeling if you come visit - you'll need more than a sweater.
Well, back to work for me. Love to you all.Tracie
Hey Tracie! I'm SO excited to read your new series Striking A Match! Embers of Love sounds so interesting (LOVE the name of the book AND the series too, BTW) and that cover is just BEAUTIFUL!! I've added it to my 2010 reading list, which just keeps growing by the day- so many AMAZING authors are releasing new books this year, whats a girl to do, eh? ;)
ReplyDeletePraying you have a great day filled with many words for your deadline and lots of hot chocolate for the snow :)
Blessings,
Amanda Stanley
Sitka! That's where they went in the The Proposal. :) Have fun, Tracie. I know you'll be a blessing.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you to meet your deadline, Tracie. ~ Your trip to Alaska in August sounds wonderful! ~ I'm still in awe that you're having SNOW in June.....Wanna trade some snow for some heat/humidity?! LOL!! ~ ~ Blessings, Patti Jo :)
ReplyDeleteExcited about the new series, Tracie! My husband is so jealous...all of the authors he reads (fantasy) are either dead or taking years to write a book, so he's running out of new books. He's so jealous that all the authors I enjoy come out with one book after another!
ReplyDeleteUgh! Snow in June. No thanks! It was bad enough having 6 inches in May at Yellowstone. But I like my 80-degrees here in Colorado. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Sitka! Yes, the town in The Proposal. Congrats on the speaking engagement. You and Jim will do great as usual and be a blessing, no doubt.
Congrats also on the new release. I hope to have a real deadline again soon. Just waiting on my editor to make a decision.
