A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words

As you read this, I am floating somewhere near the Caribbean on the Norwegian Sky with my soul sister. Yes, it's our annual sister cruise! Although it's February, we packed capri pants and t-shirts and sandals. But...since it's February...somewhere it must be snowing.

A dear photographer friend shared these beautiful pictures taken in Vermont. There's something so peaceful about a snow-laced landscape. Please savor them as I bask in sunshine and tropical breezes.

I'll share pics of my trip when I return next week, AND I'll announce the winner of last week's "vote for Kim's desk" contest (if you haven't voted, go do it now!). So stay tuned. :o)

May God bless you muchly as you journey with Him! ~Kim

  1. Kim, I really like the photos..there is something about a winter scene that is special and I have always been fascinated with Christmas Cards depicting a Northern Hemisphere "Winter Christmas" scene, with loads of snow.
Perhaps this is because it is so hot here at this time of the year and we always yearn for the opposite! :)

I do hope you and Kathy are having a wonderful "soul sister" time together on the cruise, and enjoying a little taste of hot weather (very similar to what we experience here in some States of Aus.) It must feel quite strange, given that you are used to snow in February.

Looking forward to your post next week, with all your lovely pics.:)

  4. I hope you're having a wonderful time! But I'm sure that Clyde is missing you at home :-)

I love all of the snow pictures! Jealous of Vermont...we've had NOTHING in Tennessee this year :-( This school-based speech therapist would LOVE a snow day here and there!
