In the meantime, my daughter Julie shared some photos with me that I wanted to share with you.
Here they are heading off to school.
Rainy loves to model for her mama.
My sweet Fox
Max enjoying ice cream
Of course he couldn't have ice cream without the others, I just wish I could have been there too.
I also wish I had some current photos to show you of my dear African grandchildren. I have 6 beautiful little granddaughters who live in Burduni. They are my adopted family and very dear to me. I think grandchildren are one of the best things in life and I daily thank God for mine!
God Bless
Tracie

Ooops! Blogger just ate my comment.
ReplyDeleteTracie, what gorgeous photos of your Grandchildren. They all look so happy and you must be very proud of them.
So pleased to hear they are doing well and that Rainy, once again has come out on top! Bless her!
Would love to see some pics of your African Grandchildren as they come to hand.
Have a great day/night.
Oh Tracie....they are PRECIOUS!!! I keep Rainy in my prayers and am so thankful to hear she's doing well. Fox and Max are so cute, too--am sure they have lots of energy *smile*. ~ Echoing dear Rosie's comment (waving to our sweet Aussie friend!) that we'd love to see pics of your African grandchildren if/when you have some photos handy to post. Hugs, Patti Jo
ReplyDeleteHey gals - I've requested new photos from my African family and hopefully can post them soon. One of the little granddaughters is even named after me. :)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun if your African grandkids could have ice cream, too? And if your namesake becomes even half the woman you are, the world will be blessed!

I send them chocolate from time to time and they always send me the sweetest letters of thanks. A couple of months ago little Tracie got her fingers slammed in the door when rebels were firing guns and the girls ran to get into the house. Her father - our adopted son- wrote to ask for money to help with the doctor bills to fix her fingers. She told her father to tell her Grandmother Tracie "Thank you for my fingers." Man, talk about humbling. We are so blessed here in the USA and I always remember it when I hear from them.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about grandchildren. I once heard someone say 'It's to bad we couldn't have had the grandchildren first'. I don't think we would have felt the same about them at our early ages, not knowing we still had children to raise after that.
